On January 16, 2019, School of Finance and Trade held a summary class meeting for 2018 International student freshmen. Yang Weizhu, Secretary of Party General Branch of School of Finance and Trade, attended the meeting and awarded to students who had perfect attendance in S1, 2018-2019.
The class meeting reviewed the campus activities for International students this semester. To enrich the extracurricular life of International students, and assist them to quickly integrate into the campus, our school strongly supported them to participate in recreational and sports activities on the campus, including selected and sent overseas students to participate in the long-distance running project in school sports meeting, held International student football friendly match and so on. More, our school also actively promoted the construction of campus culture for overseas students, like held a dumpling party before Winter Solstice Festival, invited students to make dumplings by themselves, and through the interaction between teachers and students, to let the overseas students deeply experienced the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
Besides, the management of International students in our school has achieved initial results. In this semester, our school set up a management team for international students, collected and summarized the files of international students, optimized the procedures for international students, improved the attendance and leave rules for International students, and so on. In grope and practice, we implement the internationalization of school teaching project step by step, and continuously expand the international impact of professional education.
